I was really looking forward to my first heirloom tomatoes of the year this week--I was supposed to get them in our Planet Organics box--however, whomever packed our box put in purple potatoes not tomatoes. I was quite disappointed until tonight when we picked up some gorgeous and delicious organic heirlooms at Trader Joe's. We enjoyed a a green and yellow tomato with a touch of salt, basalmic, and olive oil. So, so, so good.
I love tomato season!
